Itinerary
Our tour guide will be waiting for you in your hotel lobby, you will be transported to Abydos in about 2.5 hours drive, locates on the west bank of Sohag governorate, there you will see the most colorful and beautiful temple in Egypt, which had been built by King Seti I for the main god and the lord of Abydos, god Osiris. Later, you will walk to another temple built by the son Ramesses II also dedicated to the same god. Afterwards, you will be driven south to your next visit, the temple of the cow goddess Hathor, goddess of joy and love in Dendera, locates on the west bank of Qena governorate, the temple had been built during Greco-Roman times, the building activity in the area started actually at the time of the famous Cleopatra. It is famous for its astronomical scenes with upper chapels built for god Osiris, in which the well-known Zodiad had been found, after you will be back to your hotel in Luxor
