Next, gaze upon the impressive Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, with its grand terraces blending seamlessly into the cliffs. Conclude your morning with the formidable Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues that once guarded the entrance to Pharaoh Amenhotep III’s temple.

Return to the ship for lunch as the cruise sails toward Esna. Experience the captivating passage through the Esna Lock as you continue your journey south towards Edfu.

This morning, take a horse-drawn carriage through Edfu’s streets to the Temple of Horus, the best-preserved temple from ancient Egypt, renowned for its towering pylons and detailed mythological carvings.

After lunch on board, continue along the river to Kom Ombo. Here, you’ll visit the unusual double temple dedicated jointly to the crocodile god Sobek and falcon-headed Horus the Elder. Don’t miss the Crocodile Mummification Museum, which displays an extraordinary collection of mummified reptiles that were once sacred here.

Dine and relax onboard as the cruise heads toward Aswan for the night.
